I just wanted you to be aware of a few things that I thought you might be interested in for this Easter weekend!
First of all, I am a big fan of Christian singer, Michael English. I always have been and it is now such a blessing to be part of his new street team. Just like any other person, Michael has had his share of trials and tribulations and now his life has come full circle. For the past several years, he has been touring with the Gaither Band and now he is branching out again on his own. His music is moving, but more than that, it is powerful because the spirit of God is alive in him.
This Sunday, if you happen to be in Tennessee, you might want to check out this FREE concert! I wish I was going to be in Tennessee, because this is sure to be a great show!
I also wanted to share with you that a program we love in our house, Superbook, is being broadcast via ABC Family and on other local stations this weekend. “He is Risen” is a remarkable, animated telling of the wondrous story of Jesus’ resurrection. My husband and I began watching the newest Superbook shows together with our children and we were incredible moved by them. The animation is great, but the way the Bible is told is straightforward and touching. The producers have found a way to reach not only children, but adults with the Word of God in a way that is not in your face, preachy or incorrect. They use actual verses from the Bible to tell the story while intertwining a story about a young boy and girl. Check your local listings to see if it is available in your area.
I think both events would be a great way to spend the weekend with family and remember what an amazing gift we were given! I wish you and your families a blessed Easter!
