Enjoy life with the wife you love all the days of your fleeting life
Ecclesiastes 9:9
The timing of this dare is perfect. I just arrived home tonight from a Blogger’s Bash (which I will share with you at this week!). I have been away from my husband since Wednesday night. I went to Florida with our two children and my sister to attend the event and then stayed at Disney World yesterday and left this morning. (I blog about WDW as well) I can’t tell you how much I have missed being in my husband’s presence. When we were in the valley, it might not have bothered me as much, but now, I miss him terribly when we are apart.
Today’s dare is about taking delight in your spouse. Whether it is easy or difficult. Thankfully at the place we are now, it is easy. The dare asks us to neglect what needs to be done in order to spend time with our mate. So, with that being said, I am going to make this blog short and do what the dare has instructed me to do…give my spouse some undivided attention. I can’t wait to just be able to sit and talk with him since I haven’t seen him since Wednesday!
Today’s dare.
Purposefully neglect an activity you would normally do so you can spend quality time with your spouse. Do something he or she would love to do or a project they’d really like to work on. Just to be together.
At the end of the day, answer these questions:
1. What did you decide to give up?
2. What did you do together?
3. How did it go?
4. What new thing did you learn (or relearn) about your spouse?
Congratulations! You have completed Day 14! Tomorrow’s dare is Love Is Honorable.
