Get your children involved and make it a new fall tradition! What is great too, is that you can use this batter to make regular size muffins or mini muffins, simply by adjusting the baking time!
Easy to Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
