If you have been following my series, How to Find Your Authentic Self, you know how important it is to be who you are and who you were created to be. Today’s Faithful Friday takes its inspiration and quote from William Shakespeare. Shakespeare may have written this famous quote, but the sentiment has been around for ages.
Fast forward from Shakespeare to Steve Jobs back in 2011.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Deep down at your core, the real you is alive and well. You just need to give that part of you the ability to be brought to the surface.
