I don’t know about you, but as much as I LOVE the holidays, I am one word. EXHAUSTED.
Don’t get me wrong. I am the one in our family who jumps at the chance to play Christmas music and get those decorations up. My husband is “Mr. Thanksgiving” and does not agree that Christmas starts when Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way onto the screen in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I beg to differ, but I always give him that one day.
But the next day, IT IS ON and it doesn’t stop until the new year begins. Does that sound like you? I sometimes feel like the holiday season is a blur and as a mom, I miss those moments to just enjoy the season. I never understood why my mom was always running around during the holidays. Now I get it. And you don’t have to be a mom to feel frazzled. With office parties, visiting family and friends, holiday shopping, and decorating, it gets tiring. I long to just take a break and do what the bears do. They get all nice and warm and cozy and hibernate.
Holiday hibernation! It’s brilliant!
I must admit that the idea was not mine. I wish I could say it was, but to be honest, my overloaded Christmas brain could not have thought of something this cool. The awesome people at Casper Beds came up with this idea and have partnered with me to create a Holiday Hibernation list. This list is specific to me, but you can change it up however you would like!
Now to put it into action.
I live in Charleston, South Carolina and I can tell you, this weekend is going to be COLD! We are expecting temps to be only in the 30’s with possible wintry weather. It sounds like the perfect opportunity to put my Holiday Hibernation plan into place!
Check out my list for the perfect Holiday Hibernation plan! A special thank you to the kind folks at Casper who created the pretty list for me! Make sure you check out their awesome mattress designs!
Even if you already took down your lights or you think it’s too late, you can still take part in the Holiday Hibernation.

Don’t convince yourself otherwise.
You’ve made sure that everyone had an amazing holiday season and that they were taken care of. Now it’s your turn!
So, who is with me?
Are you ready to hibernate?
