If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I sometimes make reference to the Casting Crowns song, “Praise You in This Storm” and I have also reviewed their lead singer, Mark Hall’s recent book entitled Thrive. The band’s music has provided me with much solace and encouragement through some very difficult times. I know I am not the only person who has had a similar experience.
Now it is our turn to provide encouragement.
Today, this was posted on their website and Facebook page:
I love how he closed the note. We never know exactly where our lives will take us, but it’s important to remember to keep praising no matter what comes our way. Good times and bad. I am sure he never anticipated how much meaning his own words would have in his life. Until now.
Now, just as his band and his words have encouraged so many across the earth, I believe we need to rally around him and his family and give back in the only way we can right now. Through prayer.
